Tailor-made industrial cranes manufacture in Romania

With over 35 years of experience in lifting equipment, the company Elmas from Brașov manufactures and sells a complete range of DEMAG industrial cranes in Romania.

Since the beginning of 2005, a diversified range of single-girder, double-girder, and portal industrial cranes has been produced in Brașov, adapted to various industrial or commercial applications that aim to increase productivity within the material handling flow.

Elmas manufactures, delivers, installs, and services tailor-made industrial cranes for loads ranging from 1.6 to 300 tons, with track gauges from 6 to 40 meters, all built to high-quality standards. All manufactured industrial cranes bear the CE marking.

Since 2016, Elmas has been manufacturing at its Brașov production facility, equipped with state-of-the-art technology, the new industrial cranes with lattice main girders (V-type), which feature a completely revolutionary design, offering significantly higher reliability compared to the older box girder cranes.

The V-type profile consists of diaphragms made from vertical and conical girders, which reduce the self-weight of the bridge crane by an average of 17% while simultaneously doubling its lifespan with over 500,000 loading cycles.

QUALITY AND COMPLETE SERVICES

Through its own Testing Laboratory, various examinations and tests are conducted throughout the industrial crane manufacturing process, ensuring the delivery of high-quality and reliable products.

The Testing Laboratory is RENAR accredited and ISCIR authorized for conducting nondestructive, spectrochemical, mechanical, and metallographic tests:
- Non-destructive testing includes visual inspections, liquid penetrant testing, magnetic particle testing, and ultrasonic testing;
- Spectrochemical testing involves optical emission spectral analysis for cast iron and steels;
- Mechanical testing aims to determine the mechanical properties of materials;
- Metallographic testing is used to study the structure of metallic materials and their welded joints.
